The Panama St. Andrews Society would like to invite all Scots, Scottish descendants, as well as people interested in Scottish culture and Scottish country dancing to join us at Rincon Aleman Restaurant at 8 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. Next week is another rousing night of Dancing Scottish Country Dancing. For directions contact us at: info@standrewspanama.com http://standrewspanama.com/ The St. Andrew's Society of Panama has resumed activities after a 10-year quiet period. A group of the onetime members have got together with the intention of the revival of the society which stopped operating in the late 90s. The Society has remained true to its original roots and has resumed its Scottish country dancing practices, presentations on Scottish history, as well as more formal events such as Burns Night in January, The Highland Games in August and the St. Andrews Ball in November plus a Ceilidh (pronounced "kay-lee") or two throughout the year.
