A Question of Time

Dear Dr. Mutt,

I am totally confused. My master took me to the vet for my regular check-up, and I thought everything was A-Okay. I feel great. However, as we were leaving, the vet said that I was “living on borrowed time.” What did he mean by this? Now I can’t rest. Please get back to me pronto!

Ticking in Tulsa

Dear Ticking,

Humans have this phobia about aging. They multiply our age by 7 to give them an approximation of our age in their years. For example, if you’re 3 in Dog Years, you’re 21 in Human Years. I think they distort everything by doing this.

You don’t say how old you are, but unless you feel really ill, I’d say don’t worry about it. Relax and enjoy yourself.
