Halloween Hound

Dear Dr. Mutt,

My mistress carries me in her purse, and I go everywhere with her. Nobody really sees me unless I poke my head out of the bag, but she likes to tie a ribbon around my head to coordinate with her outfit. I’m not too fond of the practice because I’m a guy dog, but I tolerate it because it makes her so happy. But now I think I’ll have to put my paw down. She’s been invited to a costume party and wants to dress me up as a pumpkin. How do I get out of this?
