Couch Goddess

Dear Dr. Mutt,

I live pretty well, though my master makes me play outside, I have my own room inside with a nice soft bed and at night I get to watch TV with him on the sofa, and he’s not stingy on the rations, either. But now I think he’s lost his marbles. Today he came home with this scroungy skinny hound. He gave her a bath and told me to be nice to her. He thinks she’s cute. But that’s not all. Now she thinks she has a right to the sofa! She growls at me when I try to get her off and what’s worse --- the master lets her! I want my spot back!

Dear Displaced,

Try putting your paws on the master’s knees, block his view and whine. But it sounds as if the gal is there to stay and you might be forced to share the sofa. Good luck.
