On November 8 the government of France, the Alliance Français, the Office of the Casco Antiguo and La Nota put on a blues night at the Teatro Anita Villalaz in honor of Panama's patriotic holidays. The lead act was Parisian blues harpist Jean Jacques Milteau, who was accompanied by Manu Galvin, Jean-Michel Charbonnel and Franck Seguin.

The second band was Panama's Cabanga Blues Project, on this night featuring as special guest mezzosoprano vocalist Yomira John. Also in the band are guitarist Jesús Almena, bassman Ewer Cuernavaca, Manolo Galvez on sax and drummer José Luis Salerno.
