Good thing they haven't yet
invented the Internet smellies. The generalized collapse of urban
infrastructures in Panama City has extended into the Reverted Areas
(former Canal Zone) and was making its malodorous presence known the
other day in Balboa, with raw sewage running in the street between a
school and a church.
The blame game? Beyond the usual presumptions based on who's supposed to be in charge that many people will rightly or wrongly make, there's not much point here. However, one issue can be eliminated. In much of the metro area new construction has overloaded sewers and drains, but that's not a factor in this particular neighborhood. Photo by Eric Jackson Also
