Dry season colors

In Panama we don't have a season where just about everything loses its color and outdoor gardening grinds to a halt. Yes, there are trees that drop their leaves in dry season, but a lot of other things start to bloom once the rains stop. Bougainvillea hedges like this one, to cite but one example....
