Collared Greens

Dear Doctor Mutt,

When my master first brought me home from the pound, he bought me this cute little yellow collar –-- that was when I was three months old. Now I’m almost three years old, and I’m wearing the same yellow collar –-- only now it’s green! And it’s pretty hard to swallow! How often should our collars get changed?

Collars for canines are like toothbrushes for humans, they should be changed at least twice a year, so I’d say you’re long over due.
