Dry season blossoms

Panama does have some trees that shed their leaves in dry season, but we really don't have anything comparable to the fall and winter in the northerly latitudes where most plant life dies or goes dormant for a season. Here something or the other is always in bloom.

This time of the year you get the yellow blossoms of the guayacan trees, seen here in about as dry and dusty of a dry season place that we have, the Chiriqui provincial capital of David.
