Bath time at the Tupper Center

If you want to attract dry season birds, install a little artificial waterfall, like this one at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute's Tupper Center.

Stagnant water birdbaths like those that are used in temperate zones are not a good idea here in Panama. As a matter of fact, they can get you fined by public health authorities for maintaining mosquito breeding conditions.
