Pollinating season --- as always

Panama has an impressive array of bee species --- we don't know precisely how many, as new ones are identified from time to time. Some sting and some don't. Some specialize in visiting particular species of flowers, while some are generalists. This one is a nesting female of one of Panama's species of the Centris genus.

There's always something in bloom down here, so there are also bees and other pollinators at work in every season of the year.
