Brindled and Boasting

Dear Doctor Mutt,

Though I was born in the gutter, I am proud of my heritage, any feline would be, for I am thin and gorgeous, and my fur is brindled with black and beige stripes across my body. Every feline in the neighborhood seeks my company. They think I am of Egyptian stock, and though I am uncertain of this, it pleases me. And though branded as a low-life by the canines and the humans, I am not ashamed.

And so you should not be ashamed. Family is family and our heritage is not something for dispute, nor something to be frowned upon. There is pride in being brindled, no matter the species.
