So you might as well enjoy it Lessons in Assertiveness by Sparky, the Wonder Dog, a/k/a Dr. Sparkus T. Mutt edited by P.V. Alvarado A Leash Too Short!
My life revolves around a 6-foot leash tied to the support beam in the garage. My water bowl and food dish rest next to the pole, so I have easy access to nourishment. I can’t complain about the food, but I certainly want to lodge my protest against the leash! I have spoken with other canines that have the run of the neighborhood, and though they are fenced in, they have the whole area to run free, and their masters take them on walks. Why
can’t I have these same privileges? Would a human tolerate
such a
leash? I have committed no crime, yet I am bound and must suffer.
Help me please.
Leashed in Los Rios
There are humans and there are beings who call themselves human. Obviously, your master belongs to the latter group. I empathize with your situation, and I beg all humans who have pets to reconsider their pet’s situation, and to ask themselves how they would feel if they had to live on a leash, and to at least consider investing in a fence around the yard so everyone could be happy.
