If you live near a mangrove swamp, during times of heavy rains land crabs may come by to visit your home. If you do something stupid you theoretically could get yourself pinched, but these guys are not aggressive --- they're just flooded out of the holes in the mud where they live for the moment. The little orange crabs like this one aren't good to eat, but the larger blue land crabs are good eating, once you have flushed the muddy taste out of their systems.
