Glengarry Glen Ross coming to the local stage in October

The Theatre Guild of Ancon announces their stage presentation of "Glengarry Glen Ross," a play packed with drama, satire, and dark humor written by David Mamet.

Glengarry Glen Ross shows parts of two days in the lives of four desperate Chicago real estate agents who are prepared to engage in any number of unethical, illegal acts --- from lies and flattery to bribery, threats, intimidation, and burglary --- to sell undesirable real estate to unwilling prospective buyers.

There will only be eight performances on the following dates at 8 p.m.: Wednesday 7th, Thursday 8th, Friday 9th, Saturday 10th, Wednesday 14th, Thursday 15th, Friday 16th, Saturday 17th of October 2009.

This play will be directed by Bernard Callaghan, and produced by Rita Banús and Amit Nathani. Our talented cast will feature Jason Biffis, Jesse Choquette, Francis Icaza, Tony Loew, Jose Mezquita, Amit Nathani, Adrian Scott and Leo Wiznitzer.

Glengarry Glen Ross won the 1984 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and was first performed in London in 1983. It is well known for its 1992 film version, directed by James Foley and starring Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon and Alec Baldwin.

Reservations are available via email at tgapanama@gmail.com or through a voice message at 212-0060. Entrance is a donation of $10.00 per person.
