She's back at it

She was run out of the legal profession in Canada for stealing from her clients.

A million bucks from the savings of foreigners living in Panama disappeared through her hands in a pyramid scam.

She's still promoted online as a prominent member of the "expat community."

And now Mary Sloane is looking for more investors. Notice the nifty "Recommended Products" descriptions toward the bottom --- the prices are definite, but she doesn't say exactly what it is you get.

Beware.

Oh, and the criminal complaint that was filed against her last year? Word is that after protracted venue skirmishes the file has been transferred from Cocle to Panama, but no prosecutor has been assigned to the case and Sloane hasn't even been questioned. Impunity for foreign scam artists whose victims are foreigners is an old tradition in Panama, and it seems that President Martinelli and Attorney General Gómez intend to continue it.
