The rains are essential for our principal industry, the canal, and one of our oldest and our most fundamental of economic activities, agriculture.

So do you come from a place where time is money? Well, this is Panama and time is just time. Take your time and use your good judgment when dealing with our natural elements. The roads get slippery, the drains, streams and rivers get treacherous and trying to wade across a flooded street can get you hurt or killed.

Calm down, slow down, and enjoy our tropical climate.
