The Spanish Embassy is also planning
a public debate, featuring various international aid and development
experts, on how to proceed with the rebuilding of Haiti in the wake of
its devastating earthquake and in light of its severe economic,
environmental, political and infrastructure problems that prevailed
before the disaster. The date, time and place for that debate remains
to be announced.
