March Workshops at Finca La Maya

March 4, 5, 6. Three mornings of Culinary Adventures.

Three fabulous chefs will provide easy and unique cooking adventures you’ll love. Surprise friends and visitors with your new recipes! Register for one day only, or take all three mornings!

Adventure ONE. Learn all about Panama’s unique tropical fruits and vegetables and how to easily prepare them. Add Panama’s unique variety of local ingredients to your repertoire of recipes for dishes and desserts for entertaining!

Adventure TWO. Sweet, spicy, with an east Indian twist, these exotic dishes may knock your old favorite recipes into the past! Truly “gourmet” vegetarian like you’ve never tasted, this chef’s talent and recipes may even convince you to give up meat!

Adventure THREE. Sweet, spicy, fresh dishes for tropical dining, Thai recipes will be demonstrated… and consumed!

Class sizes limited. CALL to register, Participants MUST register no later than Monday, 1 March.

Adventure One and Two: $35 per person per day.

Adventure Three: $60 per person.

All 3 classes: $120

March 11-12. Watercolor Workshop. 

We are honored that internationally acclaimed artist Podi Lawrence has offered to share her talent with our community. Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to give painting a try; it’s art therapy! You may surprise everyone….even yourself!

Tuition fee $80 per day includes all materials provided, plus lunch. One day only: $100. Please call FLM to register by 8 March.

March 25. Creative Writing Workshop. 

Bring your ideas, curiosity, poetry or prose to a group workshop where each student will contribute and critique ideas that will then be worked on by all. Designed to inspire a unique way of bringing creativity into play, even those with no writing experience whatsoever will enjoy these simple and effective exercises!

March 31. Bonsai Workshop. 

Learn, from an expert, the ancient technique of creating unique bonsai, using the fabulous choices of tropical trees and plants available right here in Panama.

$40 includes lunch.
