at one's front door. They told their m'hearties to ignore and take from behind. A true pirate seizes ornate facades and friezes, the riches displayed to impress and not to share, and ignores the weapons that point forward- The cannons of Puerto Bello and all loyal to their pirate search. At each store and every perch no bank of commerce is without young men in varied costumes looking out with weapons from the Napoleanic wars protecting gold and old ideas. There must be some- Are you the one, to cry out, "Hey! Pirates never come this way?" And will you talk to the singers of new songs, and the indigenous old songs that need to be sung, and to those who post no guards? Ask them the secret of new beginnings, of ships that carry cargoes of possibilities that will not be plundered of hopes and dreams, and people who look behind to see what has been left behind, and those who look ahead for two way streets.
